Prototypes

The progression from an initial idea to the complete product can often be long and time-consuming. The time taken from receiving the initial request from a costumer to delivering the finished product can actually take years.

The costumer generally has an idea about what they want the product will look like, but there is no guarantee that this will be a reasonable way to manufacture the product. This is why we make sketches and prototypes of the product to get a better understanding of the costumers’ idea.

To create a prototype is a very important part of the project in order to create a satisfactory product. A physical model is much easier to understand than a drawing, and gives a good insight into the types of improvements that can be made. Oftentimes you have to create multiple prototypes before ordering a punching tool. A prototype can be made in a few hours using the equipment we already have.

In cooperation with the costumer, we end up with a product which corresponds to the costumer’s expectations, while staying within the financial budget set for the project. Our constructors have extensive experience and knowledge of designing punching tools, and know what is needed to find the correct solution.
